Join the official experience, finish the tutorial objective, and learn Shift, T, F, and B before you register. In the lobby, a race and Battlegrounds are different queues. Keep your first Stand until you know whether an empty slot is available, then use an Arrow only for a draw you are willing to take. Sit at Stage 2 campfires to heal, and follow the town-barrier cutscene instead of the old countdown. Gyro's Spin quest starts after two race wins, behind the lobby spawn.
