Pick for the job, not a fake grade
No official damage table is published, so this page does not assign S through D ranks. November 8 community rankings that put D4C, Star Platinum, and Sandman on top, and Tusk, Anubis, Oyecomova, Spin, and In a Silent Way under them, are opinions about race usefulness. Use the jobs below, then read the Stand you were actually offered.
Jobs the notes support
| Option | What is actually known | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Standless | Default spec. Named skills: Gut Punch, Open Door Policy, American Takedown, Foreign Sweep. | You have not spent an Arrow yet. |
| Star Platinum | Listed under the name Jojo. Skills: Punishment, Kick Barrage, Star Finger, Uppercut. Described as close-range punches and kicks. | You want aggressive combat and you were offered it. |
| Tusk Act 1 | Nail Stand. Skills: Focused Nail Shot, Rapid Nail Shot, Herbal Tea, Nail Glide. Acts 2 to 4 are planned, not live. | You want range. A predictable pattern is the reason some rankings moved it down after nail changes. |
| Anubis | Sword Stand. Skills: Low Slash, Crescent Slash, Anubis Counter, Afterimages. Counter window changed from 1 second to 0.6 seconds on the first hotfix. Awakening effects were added with D4C. Afterimages leaving a player invisible was a reported bug the notes say should be fixed. | You want a counter. Check you are on a new server if you are comparing old clips. |
| The Sun | Skills: Solar Ray, Flare Rain, Mirror Box, Heatwave. Taking a hit cancels The Sun's moves in the first hotfix. | You can keep from being hit. A hit cancel makes it fragile in a crowd. |
| Mr. President | Also called Coco Jumbo. Skills: Refreshments, Shake, Key Counter, Turtle Toss. Horses cannot be used in the room. A later hotfix spawns an invasion key there. | You are using the room. Do not ride inside it. |
| Oyecomova | Also called Pin Bomber and Tic Tac Boom. Skill names are not published. Players describe two auto-targeted ranged attacks and a race-disruption role, with one moderator saying duels felt weak. | You care more about bothering riders than winning a 1v1. |
| Spin | Spec from Gyro's quest. Skills: Double Throw, Kneel, Steel Rush, Steel Reversal. November 8 new servers: Awakening damage 25, miss refund 50%, no Awakening on ragdolled targets, Double Throw stun 1 second. | You have the quest progress. It is not an Arrow result. |
| D4C | Arrow Stand added November 7. See the D4C page for inputs and the new-server ragdoll, clone, and warp changes. | You were offered it and you want fight control. It is not a race-speed Stand in the notes. |
| Sandman | Live enough to receive November 8 movement changes: instant boost start and end, stamina down 10%, downhill speed brought closer to horses. Horse stats are said to apply. A horse list says Sandman does not ride. | You are racing and comparing mounts, including the no-horse exception. |
Names that are not safe to call live
Scary Monsters has skill names on a community list (Jurassic Veil, Feast, Fossilization, Dino Leigon) and a planned evolution toward The World. The November 13 schedule still presents the base form as part of Stage 3. Oh Lonesome Me and WIRED are on that same schedule. In a Silent Way appears in November 8 rankings, while the skill catalog left its status unsettled. Hamon is also unsettled there.
Planned names that the catalog explicitly left unreleased include Silver Chariot, Gold Experience, King Crimson, Crazy Diamond, Weather Report, and Made in Heaven. Do not spend an Arrow expecting them.
How to decide on a draw
If the draw shows three choices, compare those three. If it only reveals one Stand, that matches the other report. Either way, keep a Stand that solves your next problem: a race disruption tool if you are still learning the course, or a fight tool if you are entering Battlegrounds. Replacing a Stand you already understand costs a Rokakaka and another Arrow.
