What is confirmed versus mapped by players

Stage 1 and Stage 2 shipped with the November 6, 2026 release, according to the community update log. The official D4C notes later added Stage 2 checkpoint campfires you sit at to heal, and a town-barrier cutscene that replaces an older countdown. Route names below come from the community race page. Boundaries, timers, and exact triggers are not confirmed.

Stage 1

Use the first clear to learn the course. Official riding keys are Shift, Space, T, and F.

The community page splits Stage 1 into the Canyon, Cactus Patch and the Bridge, the Forest, a treacherous downhill, and a 500-yard straightaway. It names three shortcuts: the Mineshaft, a path through the hills, and a cave. It does not give entrances or time saved. Scout them before you rely on one.

Reported hazards are falling boulders, an eagle that carries a racer off the horse, TNT boxes and landmines, a collapsible bridge, and falling trees. A cow carcass on the downhill is described as a balance boost. Stage 1 is described as having no player combat, while still letting you shoot TNT or throw dynamite to knock rivals off. Dynamite can hit the thrower. No damage or ammo numbers are published.

A community walkthrough places a train shop after Stage 1, with a choice of shotgun or revolver, a one-firearm limit, and ammunition for sale. If that shop appears, match the ammunition to the weapon you are holding. Prices and stock are not confirmed.

Stage 2

The community page sets Stage 2 in the Arizona Desert and names Red Canyon, Devil's Palm, Town, and Risky River. Reported hazards are Jumping Cholla, NPCs, and a sand tornado. Oyecomova and the Boomboom family are named as NPCs. How those NPCs behave is not published.

Read the label on screen:

What you see What to do
A checkpoint with a timer Reach it before the timer ends. The duration is whatever your screen shows.
A town barrier and a Deaths Needed line The community guide describes an elimination requirement. The official patch replaces the opening countdown with a cutscene. Read the counter, then watch for the cutscene. The label alone is not proof of a personal kill quota.
Closing fog near the later barrier The walkthrough reports damage from the fog. Watch health while you wait, and check whether the route has opened.
A checkpoint campfire Sit to heal. No rate or safe-zone rule is in the patch note.

Gyro's "eliminate 10 players in Stage 2" objective is a quest count. Do not mix it up with the barrier text.

Race fixes to remember

The first launch hotfix, marked for new servers, increased side-dash cooldown by 1 second and cut its distance by 25%. Later launch notes let more than one player use the same registration booth and let mobile players edit button position and size. Another launch note says Sandman's sprint takes two hits to interrupt.

The D4C release notes also list a fix for fog damage during cutscenes and separate finish-line cutscenes for Sandman and the camel. Wording such as "should be fixed" is the developer's report, not a guarantee that every case is gone.

Stage 3 is still scheduled

A November 8 schedule places Stage 3 on November 13, 2026 at 21:00 UTC, which is November 14 at 05:00 in Taipei, together with Scary Monsters in base form, Oh Lonesome Me, and WIRED. A later Scary Monsters quest evolution is also described as future. That preview does not publish a Stage 3 route, drops, or skill values. Ride Stage 1 and Stage 2 until the update is actually in your server.
